The best part of the job

Families travel to us from across India, the Middle East and Africa. These are some of them, on the day they went home.

Patients have come from Oman, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Sudan, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi and many more countries.

What I treat

Everyday ENT problems, and the complicated airway and voice cases that other centres refer on.

Airway and voice surgery

Narrowing of the voice box and windpipe (laryngotracheal stenosis), vocal cord paralysis, and children who live with a tracheostomy tube. I have performed more than 150 airway reconstructions, including several firsts in India.

  • Subglottic and tracheal stenosis
  • Laryngotracheal reconstruction
  • Slide tracheoplasty
  • Balloon laryngoplasty
  • Tracheostomy decannulation
  • Voice and vocal cord surgery

All conditions treated

Children's ENT

Tonsils and adenoids, glue ear, noisy breathing in babies, recurrent colds and coughs.

Snoring and sleep apnoea

Sleep studies, drug-induced sleep endoscopy and surgery for adults and children.

Nose and sinus

Sinusitis, polyps, blocked nose and allergy, with endoscopic surgery and balloon sinuplasty.

Ear, hearing and balance

Ear infections, sudden hearing loss, vertigo and tinnitus, including endoscopic ear surgery.

Head and neck

Thyroid swellings, neck lumps and screening for throat and mouth cancer.

Swallowing problems

Fibre-optic swallowing assessment (FEES) and treatment, including after cancer therapy.
