Two decades of ENT surgery, with a patient-first approach
Dr Shashidhar T B leads the ENT department at Artemis Hospitals, a 750-bed JCI-accredited hospital in Gurugram. He has more than 20 years of surgical experience and has performed over 10,000 procedures in the last ten years, from routine ear, nose and throat operations to complex airway reconstruction in children.
He trained at Lady Hardinge Medical College in Delhi and at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in the United States, one of the world's leading paediatric airway centres, under Dr Robin Cotton. Before Artemis he was a consultant at Medanta, The Medicity.
Patients know him for taking on cases that others have declined, for explaining every option clearly, and for not recommending surgery that isn't needed.

Away from the hospital
An ultra runner and marathoner who also enjoys the mountains, 3D printing, flying drones, photography and testing new AI tools. He writes for newspapers and speaks on national television about health.
